The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade went the other way. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That will round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Here is the thing that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you commit.
